About Jacob

Hi, my name is Jacob and I am five years old.  I moved to Azerbaijan with my family in February and I am loving living here.  Every night I pray and thank God for Azerbaijan.  It is a cool place!!!!  I like seeing the cows, sheep and goats on the streets, ready to be slaughtered.  I like seeing all the police and army men around town.  There are so many neat things to see when we drive on the streets.

I am in Kindergarten at a new school.  There are ten students in my class.  I am learning all my sounds and am starting to put the sounds together to make words.  My favourite subject at school is gym.  We go outside and run down the street in front of our school for exercise.  My best friend’s  at school are Joel and Elijah.

If you are ever in the area, come to Azerbaijan and visit.  We love to have guests.

Bye for now.

Jacob

Oh ya, I am the luckiest in my family because I have my own room.  My sisters all have to share a room and my parents share a room but I get my own.  Isn’t that cool!!!!

    Hi Jacob

It is so nice to hear that you like Azerbaijan. Grumpy and I really miss you and are looking forward to seeing you when we come to Azerbaijan.

Don’t get too comfortable in your “OWN” room because when we come, we will probably stay in your room.

I got Grumpy a bunny for Easter. Her name used to be “TREAT” but Grumpy changed it to “DUTCHY”. We will send you a picture of her.

    Love you lots and lots.

    Hi Jacob,
Wow you finally have your own information page. I am glad that you get to have gym at your school. Are there sidewalks on the street to run on?
Do you have a bicycle in Azerbaijan? I am really enjoying riding my bicycle and wish we could ride together :)

You are lucky to have your own room! Do you have any fancy decorations yet? I am using the Bob the Builder sheets and pillow case you gave to me. I like them a lot.

    Have fun at school.
    Love,
    isaac

    Hey Jacob
I’m so glad to hear that your arm is healing and you have your stiches out already!! I heard about how brave you were when you hurt yourself, I hope that you didn’t have to miss any of your gym classes!! My favorite part of Gym class was playing Dodge-Ball, do you have a favorite game?
Keep telling us your stories Jacob, we love to hear what you are up to!
    Hugs

    Hi Jacob,

You don’t know me, but I taught the kindergarten class at Caspian Academy in 2005-2006. That was the very first year that it was open. I loved helping all the children to learn how to read and write. We always had lots of fun.

One of my students was Elijah. You will have to tell him that Miss Lydia says hello. I bet you both have lots of fun together.

Now I am back in New Zealand and am teaching children here. I do miss my class from Caspian Academy and am always praying for them.

    Bless you and your family

    Lydia

    Hi there Jacob,
That is a really funny face you are making in that picture. You are a funny little guy. Thanks for sharing your magnets with all of the adults and Elena when we came to your house. You better not stand to close to me tomorrow, I might have to mess up your hair. Ha ha.

    Hey there Jake
So, that IS pretty cool that you get your own room! Maybe that is why your eyes are so big in your picture - you’re getting lots of sleep, so you’re VERY WIDE AWAKE… :)
How are you liking school this year? Maybe when I come for a visit you’ll be able to read a story to me, that would be SO COOL!
Bye for now, Love Auntie Meeb xoxo

    Hi Jacob,

How are you liking your new school? I hear that it is a lot of fun, but they keep you busy!

I bet you keep your sisters busy. Have you learned how to drive them crazy yet? I bet if you haven’t, you’ll learn soon enough. You can ask you Dad for ideas, since he has sisters too.

    Take care,

    Ange.
