The Fortunes

We arrived back in Baku, safe and sound, early this morning. It was a long trip but everything went well and all the luggage arrived. Everyone in the family had a great time in Canada. We want to say ‘thank-you’ to everyone who hosted and helped us along the way. There were many visits, long and short, but we loved seeing our friends. The kids had a wonderful time with grandparents, cousins and friends but were all ready to come back. This afternoon we are unpacking and trying to get over the jet lag. The water tank is filling as I write this. School starts in a few days and then everything will be running up to full speed. We’ll keep you posted on life in Azerbaijan!
