New Family Members

Sorry, I haven’t kept this current. Several of you have been checking this site and wondering how we are doing. Rhonda and I decided that it might help the kids settle in if we got a kitten. After a visit to a local animal shelter (Baku Paws) we now have two kittens. (Are we suckers or what??)
The children were all very excited after school when we were able to pick the kittens up. Their names are Kiwi and Zoey. They are about six weeks old. The shelter here rescues cats, gives them an operation or finds a home for the kittens. They take care of the needles and all that as well. So, our family is growing and hopefully its a good fit.
The children are starting a two week school break. It will be challenging to find enough to do over the holiday but the kids are hoping for some sleep overs and visits with friends. Thanks for all your prayers. Have a great week.

It sounds like the kids are settling in and getting adjusted. If they’re already having sleepovers at friends’ homes, they must be doing well. I’m so glad to hear all is well. Keep in touch!

I had dinner with Janice Ahlberg last night and she told me where you guys were at. WOW. I love missions and am so excited for your new adventure. When God leads (and we follow!) there’s that knowing that all is well no matter what. I’ll keep checking your blog and be praying for you all as you adjust to this new life.
